Grass Valley Library - Royce Branch Children's Room
Join Miss Emily for Baby Storytime at the historic Grass Valley Library. This short story time is filled with rhymes, songs, and stories for the youngest children and their caregivers. We invite you to linger and enjoy each other's company after the story time. Toys will be provided.
Need some hands-on time learning a new skill? Have a technology issue that you just can’t figure out? Make a free appointment with one of the skilled volunteers or staff at the Madelyn Helling Library! Technology appointments are created on an as-needed basis. This art program is designed especially for teen and tween artists. Our Art Club will meet every Tuesday. There will be an activity demonstrated, drawing, painting, collage, etc. It's also a time for you to show off your work to the others in the group. Let's see your creativity and craftiness! For ages 10-17.
Join us for Storytime at the Penn Valley Library right before we open at 10:30am! This Storytime features songs, movement, rhymes, and picture books to help little ones develop a lifelong love of reading and help promote early literacy. This program is geared towards toddlers and preschoolers.

Donate a gently used costume (all ages) at Truckee Library from September 13-October 1, during the library's open hours only. You can also drop off costume donations at KidZone Museum at 11711 Donner Pass Rd during open hours. Come back to the Truckee Library on Saturday, October 8 to get a "new-to-you" costume!

This book club is for people with IDD (intellectual & developmental disabilities) to read, learn, and make friends in a relaxed community setting. NCBC provides an opportunity for those with IDD to experience community inclusion, social connectedness, and lifelong learning.
