Mental Health and Substance Use Advisory Board Meeting2023-10-06T10:00:00The Mental Health and Substance Use Advisory Board (MHSUAB) is comprised of consumers, family members and community members appointed by the Board of Supervisors to advise the Behavioral Health Department. The MHSUAB meets monthly with the Behavioral Health Director to provide advice, guidance and recommendations. The MHSUAB may discuss or review topics related to policy, procedures, target population, budget, staffing, program development, service needs, assessment and priorities. The MHSUAB may request presentations from programs or staff in specific areas of interest. An Annual Report from the MHSUAB is provided to the BOS highlighting progress and accomplishments. The meeting is open to the public.
