Are there bargaining groups at the County?

Yes.  The County has entered into seven negotiated agreements with labor groups:

  • Sheriff's Management Association
  • Deputy Sheriff's Association
  • Probation Peace Officers Association
  • Management Employees Association
  • Deputy District Attorney/Deputy Public Defenders Association
  • Professional Unit
  • General Unit

We also have unrepresented groups of employees:

  • Elected Department Heads
  • Appointed and Confidential Department Heads
  • Confidential Employees
