Parents, students and community members are invited to learn about the dangers of fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid, Thursday night at Nevada Union High School. The meeting is 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
Those who attend will learn about the impact of fentanyl on the community, learn about Narcan and how to use it, hear stories of survival and recovery and can ask questions from experts.
Participants include representatives from Nevada County Public Health and the Nevada County Sheriff's Department.
