United Way Book Sale Runs Through Oct. 27

Classics, cooking and mysteries are just a few of the genres represented at the United Way Book Sale going on now in the lobby of the Eric Rood Administration Center in Nevada City.

Other genres include young adult, romance, Western, religion, healing, spirituality, history/politics, do-it-yourself, gardening and photography.

The sale is open 8 a.m to 5 p.m. daily. Donations can be dropped off between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Magazines, encyclopedias, DVDs and VHS tapes, and out-of-date reference materials are not accepted.

Proceeds will be donated to the United Way of Nevada County.
