Community Opioid Overdose Prevention and Narcan Training

Know Overdose Nevada County's Goals are to prevent death from drug overdoses

In recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31, the Know Overdose Nevada County campaign will be hosting two FREE virtual community opioid overdose prevention and Narcan trainings—one in English (August 31 from 12-1pm) and one in Spanish (September 6 from 4-5pm). 

Fentanyl-related overdose deaths are now the leading cause of death among U.S. adults 18-45. Members of the public are invited to learn more about opioids, fentanyl, the local impact of the opioid crisis and how to use the opioid overdose reversal drug Narcan.
