Supervisor Heidi Hall and Jeff Thorsby, a senior management analyst for Nevada County, have been appointed to the National Association of Counties’ Rural Action Caucus.
The caucus is the “voice of rural counties before Congress and the White House,” according to the association website. Members of the caucus are dedicated to “solving the unique issues impacting local communities and rural economic development, including making daily decisions impacting roughly 60 million Americans,” the website said.
