Nevada County is inviting proposals from qualified vendors, individuals and/or businesses to enter into a lease agreement and establish a business within the County Café space located inside the Eric Rood Administrative Building (ERAC).
Food selection should reflect a nutritional, high quality, cost effective and innovative menu. These services must be provided to meet the needs and desires of the customers who will patronize the business, which include, but are not limited to county staff, members of the public, library patrons, and any other customers who choose to support the selected entity for this space.
The selected vendor must maintain consistent hours of operation between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday through Friday. In addition, the selected vendor is expected to work cooperatively with the Facilities Maintenance Division to compliment the division’s goals and objectives to enhance the County Café by providing healthy food options, environmentally friendly containers, and enhancing the space for a comfortable and welcoming experience for staff and community members.
The proposal submission deadline is May 31st before 5:00 pm. A proposer’s conference has been scheduled for May 18, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the Rood Center lobby. In addition, a virtual meeting has been established for those who are not able to attend in person. See the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for full details, including a description of the scope of work, proposal requirements, and instructions for submitting your proposal.
