Pursuant to Governor Gavin Newsom's Executive Order pertaining to the convening of public meetings in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the County of Nevada will hold its regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Supervisors from inside the Board Chambers. The Tuesday, December 14th meeting starts at 9:00 a.m. in the Board Chambers.

At 10:15 a.m., following the Consent Calendar and Public Comment, the Sheriff-Coroner/Public Administrator will host a Public Community Forum regarding the Truth Act to provide information about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) access to individuals and to receive and consider public comment.
At 10:30 a.m., the Board will have a Public Hearing and consider adopting the final Nevada County Supervisorial Districting maps published on the Nevada County Redistricting website at www.mynevadacounty.com/redistricting.
Next, the Board will consider a resolution to approve a contract with Robert D. Niehaus to conduct an independent economic impact analysis for the Idaho-Maryland Mine Project in Nevada County. Then, the Board will consider a resolution accepting bidding documents, plans, and specifications for the McCourtney Road Transfer Station Improvement Project.
Following a closed session and a recess for lunch, the Board will reconvene at 1:00 p.m. to consider an Ordinance amending the Nevada County Administrative Code - Board of Supervisors to set Board of Supervisors compensation in alignment with other County elected officials.
Next, the Board will hear a presentation on the Nevada County Enterprise Information Security Program, followed by a presentation on the Emergency Medical Care Committee.
