Airport Manager Kevin Edwards was appointed to a second two-year term on the Association of California Airports (ACA) Board. The purpose of ACA is to bring together all persons who represent both publicly and privately-owned airports and all others working to foster, promote, and assist the development of the air transportation system in California. Chief Information Officer Steve Monaghan was appointed to his seventh year on the National Association of Counties (NACo) Telecommunications and Technology Steering Committee. The committee addresses all matters on telecommunications and technology policy, including, but not limited to, the county's role as a telecommunications regulator, service provider, and consumer, cable services technology and implementation, information technology development and implementation, information technology innovation, e-governance, and geo-spatial.
