The board meetings take place according to the details below with some exceptions. Please see the meeting calendar and the posted agenda for each meeting in order to verify meeting details.

Meetings can be viewed live on TV at:

  • Channel 17 (Comcast)
  • Channel 17 and 78 (Suddenlink)

Meetings can also be viewed online (live and recorded).

When:

Meetings start at 9 am on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.

The meeting calendar for the upcoming year is set at the first meeting in January. See 2022 calendar.

How to Provide Public Comment:

  • In-person at the board meeting
  • By phone (during the meeting): 530-270-3474
  • Written comments (must be received by 4 PM the day before the meeting):
    • Online via eComment (available once the agenda is posted)

Nevada County, California is one of the most historic and scenic areas of our state.

Supervisor District 1

Supervisor District 1

District 1 includes Nevada City and the unincorporated areas of Banner Mountain, Cascade Shores, Deer Creek, and the Highway 174 corridor.
Supervisor District 2

Supervisor District 2

District 2 includes the communities of Alta Sierra, Lake of the Pines, and unincorporated areas along Highway 49.
SUPERVISOR DISTRICT 3

Supervisor District 3

District 3 includes the City of Grass Valley, Cedar Ridge, the Brunswick Basin, Squirrel Creek, and unincorporated areas along Highways 49 and 20.
