Human Resources

Welcome to the County of Nevada Department of Human Resources

We are a department that serves the County's Board of Supervisors by performing human resources functions for over 800 employees. We administer the recruitment function to help people find jobs, and we also administer the salary and benefits programs adopted by the Board of Supervisors.

During Phase 3 of the County's reopening plan, the Human Resources Office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The number of staff we have in the office at any one time is limited, but we are nonetheless ready to help you.  If you'd prefer to call, please know we answer the phone and check its messages.  We also monitor our Human Resources email inbox.  Stay safe!
