Statutory Rape

Although it is commonly accepted that teen pregnancy is a major social and economic problem, it is relatively unknown that two-thirds of the fathers of babies born to under-age girls are adults. This specialized unit utilizes both criminal and civil enforcement mechanisms to address the growing problem caused by the statutory rape of underage females and non-support of the resulting child.
