The Nevada County Rental Assistance Program provides financial assistance in the form of direct payments to landlords, lenders, or utility providers. This program is specifically designed to aid COVID-19 affected households at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) as adjusted for household size. Please see the chart below for income limits for this program and to see if you might be eligible.
Applications received before the close date will be processed and applicants selected for the program will be contacted to provide any additional information necessary. If awarded rental, mortgage, or utility assistance, payments will be made directly to the landlord, lender, or utility provider.
Full guidelines for the program can be found here: Subsistence Program Guidelines for rental, mortgage, and utility assistance
