Recreation Collection

In alignment with the Nevada County Board of Supervisor's Recreation priority, The Nevada County Library's Recreation Collection is made up of items meant to be used to increase social equity and encourage recreation. The Recreation Collection envisions the library as a community space where access to the means of socialization is just as important as the free and unimpeded exchange of information.

Recreation Collection Borrowing Policy: 

  • Recreation Collection items may be placed on hold and picked up at your desired library location.
  • Recreation Collection items check out for one week and there is no renewal. 
  • Patrons are financially responsible for the replacement of damaged or lost items. 
  • Recreation Collection Waiver must be signed in order to check out materials from this collection
