Check Out a California State Parks Pass at your local library!

Through a partnership with California State Parks, the California State Library Parks Pass program provides 5,000 free vehicle-day use passes for circulation at public libraries throughout California.

The passes are valid at over 200 parks for one car’s access and are a physical hangtag. Passes can be checked out for 7 days, and are non-renewable. Passes can be placed on hold through the library's catalog online (search "Parks Pass"), or by calling your local branch. You must pick up the pass at the designated library location. Passes will not be sent in transit to other libraries.
