Occasionally, our office receives a voted vote-by-mail ballot without the voter's signature or applies a signature that does not match what our office has on file. Nevada County Elections will send the voter a letter notifying them of the issue and the opportunity to resolve or "cure" the missing or mismatched signature. Voters have up until 2 days before the election is certified to cure a missing or mismatched signature.
